Genuine Expertise

Our Health and Nutrition Advisory Board is comprised of veterinarians, doctors of animal nutrition and formulators who use the most recent and innovative scientific knowledge in their respective fields.

We are constantly seeking to hone our skills and keep a lookout for the latest developments in science and technology so we can create innovation to provide the best care and nutrition.

Lifelong Pet Health

We know the foundation of a long, healthy life for pets is to provide them with the best nutrition possible. Our experts develop balanced formulas adapted to the specific nutritional needs of pets at each lifestage.

Pets’ nutritional needs change as they age, so it’s important to give them food that will support their health at each lifestage. By meeting their changing nutritional needs throughout their life, you’ll help ensure your pet enjoys the longest life possible.

Purposeful Design

We target specific needs of pets by offering high quality nutrition made with the best natural and functional ingredients. The ingredients used in our products are carefully selected through a precise and rigorous process in order to provide the nutrients your pet needs in its diet.

Each ingredient has a specific role and is incorporated in the right amount into our formulas. We are transparent about what ingredients go into our food and the reasons behind their selection.

Authentic Benefits

We create real food that enables our consumers to see authentic benefits on their pet’s health. These benefits meet the real nutritional needs of pets and are evident in a healthy skin and coat, optimal digestion and energy balance.

Our Health and Nutrition Advisory Board also develops formulas that not only match these visible benefits, but also target other specific needs such as joint health and weight control.

Nutrient Standards

We formulate our food following strict standards developed for Vetdiet® based on the most current scientific research.

We hold our products to the highest standard so as to deliver the best nutrition to your pet. Our standards were created using the National Research Council of the National Academies of Science, Nutrient Requirements of Dogs and Cats and the European Pet Food Industry Federation Nutritional Guidelines for Cats and Dogs. We are constantly evaluating current nutrition research findings to update our standards in order to provide the best nutrition for your pet.

Ingredient Standards

The basis of all of our nutrition is high-quality natural ingredients. We start with the freshest nutrient-rich whole ingredients. When we use processed ingredients, we source those which are minimally processed. We use the latest science and technology in determining our ingredient selection. All of the ingredients we source must meet our high standards for quality.
