Cat Video Festival — 1 year of free cat food

1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION

The contest “1 Year of free cat dry food’ for the Cat Video Festival (hereinafter the “Contest”) is organized by Vetdiet International inc., whose head office is located at 11 200, Renaude-Lapointe St., Montreal (Quebec) H1J 2V7, (hereinafter the “Organizers”). 

The Contest runs on August 12^th,2021 from 08:00 until August 12^th,2021 23:59 (EST). (hereinafter the “Contest Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to all individuals who, as of the date of entering the Contest:

1. reside in Minnesota State;
2. are at least 18 years old;

Employees, agents or representatives of the Organizers, any company, trust or legal entities controlled by or related to the Organizers, their advertising or promotional agencies, their supplier of prizes, materials or services linked to the Contest and any of the above persons’ or entities’ immediate family members (brother, sister, children, father, mother), their legal or de-facto spouses and any other people living with these employees, representatives and agents, are excluded from the Contest.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

No purchase required. Limit of one entry per person. 

To participate, follow these steps:

2. Like the publication 
3. Send the following informations (name, mailing address, phone number and email address) in a private message @vetdietus to enter the contest 

Limits: Participants need to respect the following, failing which they may be disqualified:

4. WINNERS SELECTION 

On August 16^th, 2021, at 9.00 am. (EST),  one (1) entry will be randomly selected from among all entries registered during the contest period online and offline at the Cat Video Festival. The draw will take place at the Head Office located at 11200 Renaude-Lapointe St., Montreal, Canada, H1J 2V7.

5. PRIZE

One (1) prize will be given away :

1. Grand Prize: 

One (1) year of free Vetdiet® dry food for a total value up to an amount of $600. The prize will be awarded in the form of twelve coupons redeemable at a Chuck & Dons near you only for a bag of Vetdiet® dry food per month. Each of the twelve coupons must be redeemed in a given month in the Chuck & Dons chosen by the Confirmed Winner. Each coupon must be redeemed at the latest on the last day of the month failing which the coupon will be automatically voided. The Confirmed Winner will have one year to claim all of their Vetdiet® dry food bags starting as of September 2021 to August 2022.

6. PRIZES ATTRIBUTION

Between August 16^th and August 27^th, 2021, the randomly selected entrants will be informed via email that their names have been drawn (a “Chosen Person”).

1. Confirmed winner. In order to be declared a winner (a “Confirmed Winner”), a Chosen Person must:
   1. Be reached by email within two (2) days of the draw and respond to this communication within two (2) days of receiving it for the purpose of providing contact details (name, full mailing address, address email, phone number);
   2. Complete and sign the declaration and exemption from liability form (the “declaration form”), to the effect that he has complied with all the conditions provided for in these rules and correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question included on the declaration form. The declaration form will be sent to him by email by the Contest Organizer and the selected participant must return it in the prescribed manner so that they receive it within five (5) days of its receipt;
2. Disqualification. If any one of the conditions mentioned in the present rules is not met, the Chosen Person will be disqualified and shall not be entitled to receive any prize. In such a case, the Organizers of the Contest will select at random another eligible entrant as a potential prize winner, which will be contacted by email and shall declare their intention to accept the prize on the same day, failing which another person will be contacted until a winner is confirmed. 
3. Delivery of prizes. Within six (6) to eight (8) weeks of receipt of the duly completed and signed declaration form, the Contest Organizer will mail the Prize to the winner’s home.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. By entering or attempting to enter the Contest, every entrant accepts and agrees to abide and be bounded by the official Contest rules and any decision made by the Organizers with respect to any aspect of the Contest.
2. Only the Chosen Persons will be contacted. No prize will be awarded unless the winner has been confirmed.
3. The prizes offered shall be accepted “as is” and shall not be exchanged for money, sold, transferred or otherwise disposed of. No substitution will be accepted.
4. The Organizers reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify an entrant if:
   1. The registration form is not fully completed or comprehensible or if any person transgresses or attempts to violate these Contest rules; 
   2. The entrant is suspected of having or has actually tampered with the entry process or the good conduct of the Contest or the Contest Website;
5. The entrant has acted unfairly or in a manner that interferes with or intends to annoy, torment, threaten or harass another person.
6. In the event that it is impossible, difficult or more expensive for the Organizers to award a prize as described in the Contest rules, the Organizers reserve the right to award a prize or in their sole discretion, the monetary value of the prize indicated in the Contest rules.
7. To the extent permitted by law, any person entering or attempting to enter the Contest releases the Organizers, all companies, trusts and other legal entities controlled by or related to the Organizers, their advertising and promotional agencies as well as Facebook, and their employees, agents and representatives, from all damages or claims that may result from the person’s entering or attempting to enter the Contest or from accepting or using the prize or goods acquired by means of the prize.
8. Without limiting the scope of the above disclaimer, the Organizers, all companies, trusts or other legal entities controlled by or related to the Organizers, their advertising and promotional agencies and their employees, agents and representatives, shall in no way be held liable in the event that a person is limited or prevented from entering the Contest due to a computer hardware, computer software or communication network malfunction; loss or absence of network communication; or defective, incomplete, incomprehensible or deleted transmissions or messages, whether caused by a computer or network issue. The above-mentioned persons and legal entities shall not be held liable for any damage or loss caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any Web page, software or other, or by the transmission of information to enter the Contest. The Organizers do not guarantee the availability or uninterrupted operation of the Contest’s website at any time during the Contest Period, nor do the Organizers warrant that the website will be free of errors.
9. The Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, change or suspend the Contest, in part or in whole, in the event that an incident or human intervention occurs that could alter or influence the administration, security, impartiality or unfolding of the Contest as described herein.
10. Operation of the Facebook page. The Contest Organizer does not guarantee in any way that the Facebook page of the contest or any website or site linked to it will be accessible or functional without interruption for the duration of the contest or that it will be free from any error. In the event that the computer system is unable to record all entries in the Contest during the Contest Period for any reason whatsoever, or if the Contest should end in whole or in part before the end of the Duration of the Contest for any reason whatsoever, the choice of winners may be made, at the discretion of the Organizers, from the registrations duly recorded from the start of the Contest, until the time of the event that ended the Contest.
11. In no event shall the Organizers be required to award more prizes or any prize other than in accordance with the official Contest rules stated herein.
12. Any costs that may be incurred as a result of obtaining the prize are the sole responsibility of the Confirmed Winner.
13. By entering the Contest, each entrant authorizes, in case they win a prize, the Organizers and their agents and representatives to use for advertising and promotional purposes, if necessary, his or her name, photo, image, voice and city or town of residence without compensation of any kind and without limit as to the period of use. The Confirmed Winners’ names and cities or towns of residence may be published on the Organizers’ social media and Websites.
14. By entering or attempting to enter the Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information (including but not limited to their name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address) for the sole purpose of organizing, administering and conducting the Contest, with the understanding that the Organizers will not provide this information to any third party other than as required to organize and administer the Contest (e-mail addresses collected during the Contest may potentially be used for commercial purposes related to the Contest).
15. The Organizers will nonetheless collect non-identifying information about the entrants based on their entry and participation in the Contest.
16. No commercial or other materials unrelated to the Contest will be sent to the entrant unless they have authorized such communication. During the Contest entry process, the Organizers may ask the entrants for their permission to receive commercial information from the Organizers by e-mail. If the entrant wishes to unsubscribe from these e-mail messages, they may do so by clicking the unsubscribe button contained in the e-mail message.
17. Property. The declaration forms are the property of the Contest Organizer and will in no case be returned to participants.
18. All decisions made by the Organizers and their representatives with respect to the Contest are final and without appeal.
19. The Contest is subject to applicable federal and provincial legislation.
20. Facebook platform. This contest is not associated with, managed or sponsored by Facebook. Any questions, complaints or comments regarding the contest must be submitted to the Contest Organizer and not to Facebook. Facebook and all of its affiliates, administrators, officers, agents and employees are not responsible for any claims arising out of, or in connection with, the organization of this contest. However, by participating in this contest, any participant agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of use, contracts, other policies and / or guidelines governing the Facebook platform and releases from any liability the Contest Organizer, company, association, trust or other legal entity controlled by or linked to them, their advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, agents and representatives of any damage they may suffer as a result of the use of this platform.
